This site highlights our employees who have received recognition for their many contributions to Science, Technology and many other areas. The site also provides information about prizes, awards, and fellowships that the Jefferson Lab staff may be eligible to receive. JLab wins three National Safety Council (NSC) Awards in 2005. The following major Safety awards were presented to JLab for 2005: Safety Excellence Achievement Award - Recognizes particpants that have reported injuries and illnesses that involved days away from work, equal to or less than 50% of the Bureau of Labor Statitstics rate for their six digit NAICS Code, and have had no fatalities during a Calendar Year; Perfect Record Award - Recognizes companies or facilities that have completed a period of at least twelve consecutive months without incurring an occupational injury or illness that resulted in days away from work or death; and Million Hours Worked Award - Recognizes companies, units and/or facilities that have accomplished 1,000,000 consecutive man-hours without incurring an occupational injury or illness that resulted in days away from work or death.  Stephen Benson  Division: Accelerator  American Physical Society Fellow  William Brooks  Division: Physics  United States Patent  Lawrence Cardman  Division: Physics  Governor's Distinguished CEBAF Professorship December      15 Harlan D.
